What is the Payment Protection Fee?
A small per-player charge that covers secure payment processing, fraud protection, and automatic payout guarantees. It's always shown upfront and is completely separate from the buy-in — 100% of your buy-in goes to the pool.
Does TeamSplit take money from the pool?
Never. The Payment Protection Fee is a separate charge. Every single dollar of the buy-in goes directly to the winners.
Do I need to be the commissioner to use it?
Commissioners create and manage the league. Members join via invite link and get full visibility into the pool and payment status. Both sides benefit.
Is this only for fantasy football?
